Veganuary is here.

'Veganuary is an annual challenge run by a UK non-profit organisation that promotes and educates about veganism by encouraging people to follow a vegan lifestyle for the month of January.’ –

Why take part in Veganuary? This month is about inspiring people to try going vegan for January and possibly beyond. For most, it’s a way to help break down the stigma that plant-based food has no flavour and variety, but also for people to do more research on the health and environmental benefits of eating less meat and dairy.

It is also a time to help people think and re-evaluate how they are living their lives. Considering the ways their choices impact the environment and start making positive changes for 2022 and beyond.

The participation of this annual challenge has soared over the past few years, from only 12,800 people signing up in 2015 to 582,538 people signing up in 2021. This growing change in people’s diets had also had a great change on the number of plant-based foods we see on our store shelves. Having more accessible meals to the public is a great way to help slowly transition going plant-based into peoples lives.

Through out this month we will be having a larger focus on helping you understand more about what you are eating and the health benefits of certain foods. So make sure you keep an eye out on our blog and socials for more information.
