Reduce Waste this Valentine's Day

We have all found ourselves at least once panicking down a Valentine’s gift aisle to find a last minute gift; it's time to change that. Step back from buying the same commercialised gifts and reduce waste with these simple ideas below:

Cocktail making

Instead of buying a new bottle of bubbly, why not use what you already have at home and make cocktails together. You could even spice things up and hold a cocktail competition to see who makes the best drink by using ingredients that you have around the house. What’s the prize? You decide..

Bake a special treat

Don’t by your loved one the same box of chocolates another year in a row. Whilst we are in lockdown why not make something extra special and bake them their favourite treat. Stuck with ideas? Why not browse through our recipes to inspire you.

Keep it simple

This last year has pushed some of us to the limits and made us appreciate the simpler things in life. So, instead of buying a card this year, why not write a hand written message on a homemade note or card. Nothing says love more than putting time and effort into something they can treasure forever.

Give back

Tired of buying similar gifts every year for each other? Then why not put your money together and support a cause that matters to you both. Plant a tree or donate to a charity, use your money to do good in the world.
